Black Friday is one of the best times of the year for bargains and the video games market is no exception. Sony, Nintendo, Xbox, Steam, Origin and Epic are already knee-deep in discounts, and Mojang is no different. The Minecraft ‘Block Friday’ sale is officially live, and with heavy discounts and even some freebies, this is one you don’t want to miss.
Over on the official Minecraft website, Mojang has announced discounts of 33% on a whopping 68 items available in the Minecraft Marketplace. If that wasn’t appealing enough for your wallet then it gets even better with the “doorbuster” daily deal items.
As Mojang explains: “(Don’t worry, ‘doorbusters’ is marketing-speak for ‘a great daily deal’ and not ‘help! Mojang are somehow smashing down my door!’).
“These doorbusters will be reduced by 75% which, frankly, should be illegal. The best way to keep track of what two new doorbusters are available each day of the sale is to follow us on Twitter.”
The Minecraft Block Friday sale is officially underway, running from Wednesday November 27th all the way up until Monday December 2nd. (Yeah, I’m a day late to the party on this one. Don’t shoot the messenger).
Along with the heavy discounts there’s even a freebie skin pack up for grabs and it’s 100% free! The Blockheads skin pack is now officially $0.00 USD, and can be found in the Minecraft Marketplace for the Block Friday celebration.
