We’ve been waiting for a new Batman Arkham game for a long time now but we might now be on the way to an official announcement if rumours are to be believed.
The news comes from ComicBook and YouTube Channel Slcmof, which claims that inside sources have revealed the new Arkham game will be revealed during December 2019.

Seeing as the only major gaming event taking place in December is The Game Awards 2019, we could be looking at the game’s official reveal as soon as December 13.
Just last month we caught wind of rumours suggesting the new game will go by the name Batman: Arkham Legacy.

Known video games leaker and Twitter user @New_WabiSabi was the one behind the leak, and considering they correctly predicted a whole load of E3 2019 news earlier this year, they’re a pretty reliable source.
Along with the name Arkham Legacy, @New_WabiSabi suggested that you’ll be able to play as the entire Bat-Family, which most likely includes Robin, Batgirl and Nightwing.
They claimed the information they have received was accompanied by screenshots of the game-in-progress, which presumably, won’t be shared.
Previous leaks have suggested the game, whatever it might be, will be focused on the Court of Owls, an organised crime group and secret society well-known from the DC comics.

Let’s hope we’ll get some official answers at The Game Awards next month, but for now take these leaks with a hefty pinch of salt. The Game Awards 2019 will be streamed live across multiple platforms including Twitch and YouTube. Voting is still open at the time of writing, so if you haven’t yet voted then make sure you do!
