Although it’s yet to be confirmed, we all know by now that a Battle Royale mode is coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The game’s second season of content has officially landed, and with it has come BR teases, glitches and finally – a massive leak.
A number of videos surfaced across social media, showcases everything that’s been uncovered for the upcoming mode, which is apparently set to be called “Warzone.” Of course, Activision is going pretty hard to remove any of the video leaks, but if you scour about you might still get lucky.
Video you'll love from around the web
While video content is getting removed across the board, it’s too little too late, as the upcoming game additions have already been seen by millions.
A recent glitch which has caused the Warzone menu to load for some players has revealed the following additions to the game:
- Armor Plate Bundle
- Gas Mask
- Precision Airstrike
- Shield Turret
- Cluster Strike
- Munitions Box
- Drop Kit Marker
Screenshots posted to social media also hint at the idea that in-game currency will be earned by completing missions, which then can be spent at the supply station.
As always, take it all with a pinch of salt for now.
Though the mode has been rumoured for months, the first “official” hint that BR is headed our way came straight from a new in-game cinematic that came with the Season Two update. As you can see in the tweet below, it definitely looks like a reference to a BR mode.
Along with this supposed clue came another “leak” over on Reddit, where a now-deleted user claims to have received a picture of a campaign advert for CoD Battle Royale.
The deleted post, which contained the following image, simply stated: “I found this image online. Not sure what it is. Possibly Battle Royale.”
It’s pretty much a waiting game, now!
