Despite the new Mortal Kombat 1 not releasing until September, its Steam page has already been updated with its PC requirements. Let’s take a look.
The series reboot will continue the story from the 2019 Mortal Kombat 11 instalment. With a lot of news dropping about the upcoming title this past week, we are now also aware of how it will run for PC users.
At a quick glance, it appears as though it will be a pretty modest game that will run on older processors including the GTX 1080 Ti. However, it will require a hefty bit of cleared storage.
So let’s take a look at both the minimum and recommended specs for Mortal Kombat 1.

Mortal Kombat 1 Minimum PC Requirements
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-6600 | AMD Ryzen™ 3 3100 or Ryzen™ 5 2600
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce® GTX 980 or AMD Radeon™ RX 470 or Intel® Arc™ A750
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 100 GB available space
Mortal Kombat 1 Recommended PC Requirements
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-8400 | AMD Ryzen™ 5 3600X

As you can see, other than the hefty storage which is common for a lot of modern games, the minimum requirements are not too demanding. The recommended requirements are understandably more taxing, however it is pretty doable as opposed to the Diablo 4 requirements.
