A secret language that features in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla has been successfully translated by the game’s fan community.
The fan community Access the Animus released a video describing how they transcribed various Isu texts and symbols found throughout the game, according to a report by Eurogamer.

The Isu, also referred to as “those who came before”, are an important part of Assassins Creed lore, having relevance to the story since the first game. This ancient race of beings are the apparent creators of humanity in the series, as well as the “Pieces of Eden”, which frequently appear throughout the series.
The group of savvy fans managed to crack the Isu language by cross-referencing tablets found as Evior when in the Animus with files found on Layla’s computer when back in the present day.

The clues are said to have been left to aid translation by Antoine Henry, who worked on creating the language for the game. These digital breadcrumbs became central to solving the mystery behind the secret language.
Another important tool used to decipher the language was the collector’s edition of the game itself, which contains various pieces of Isu text. Enter the Animus found the words hidden within the games included soundtrack, as well as on the case itself and art prints (sounds like a job for Hercule Poirot).
The community’s efforts were then praised by Assassins Creed narrative director Darby Mcdevitt, who said: “Access the animus, I never doubted you”.
The process of solving the mystery behind this language sounds anything but simple. Access the Animus used a complex understanding of language and grammar to figure out exactly how the language works.
The team of fans now plans to delve further into the language, with move videos to come in regards to the numerical aspects of the language.
