Naughty Dog Teases ‘New Content’ For The Last Of Us Day This Weekend

Naughty Dog has teased all-new content for The Last of Us Day this weekend. Could we finally see the rumoured Factions multiplayer?

The Last of Us Day is the annual celebration from Naughty Dog which has been a constant bash since its inception on September 26th, 2013. This annual event was formerly known as “Outbreak Day”, however, Naughty Dog decided to rename the event due to the sensitive topic of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In most cases, The Last of Us Day is an event to launch new memorabilia related to Naughty Dogs post-apocalyptic game. We are also often treated to PSN Avatars and Dynamic PS4 themes. Which will no doubt be the case this weekend.

Yet, in a PlayStation Blog post, Naughty Dog teases that we might have something a little extra special to look out for. Naughty Dog teased that there will be some kind of reveal this Sunday at 5pm UK time.

In addition to the merch below, we will be revealing some all-new content on September 26 at 9:00am PT/ 6:00pm CET. Be sure to come back and check it out on TheLastofUs.com/TLOUDay.

It’s important not to get our hopes up, but you cannot help but be intrigued by the words “revealing some all-new content.” At the time of writing, the link provided above leads to nowhere. However, that is likely to change over the weekend.

It would be fantastic if the rumoured multiplayer mode Factions for The Last of Us: Part 2 was finally revealed. Though I wouldn’t hold your breath. Perhaps we will finally get our first look at The Last of Us TV series from HBO? Only time will tell.

What do you hope the “all-new content” will be? Let’s get speculating across our social media channels.
