Dying Light 2 is finally getting new gameplay revealed and it’s happening tomorrow. Rejoice, fellow zombie nerds!
Other than snippets of gameplay here and there, we’ve not seen much of any new gameplay footage of Dying Light 2 since E3 2019. Fans have even been wondering if Dying Light 2 would ever see the light of day, after it was seemingly stuck in developmental hell.
Alas, we’ll not have to wait very long to see how this open-world, post-apocalyptic zombie game is getting on. Perhaps, we’ll even get a new release date (which hopefully won’t be followed by a delay).
Last week some members of the press were sent care packages from the developers at Techland. The care package featured a logo sticker, a UV light, and a poster. Check out our video below!
When the UV light was shared on the poster, it revealed a date and time for the new Dying Light 2 gameplay reveal.
The care package also included a letter from the developers, which read:“Hello, survivor! Remember Harran? Of course, you do. But all that – that was just the beginning… Now the City is our refuge, and it needs your help.
“Want to know more? You will, but you’ll have to hunt. I had to hide the info – this place isn’t safe. Track down the clues and remember, it’s all for your eyes only. This message cannot fall into the wrong hands. You’re our last chance, survivor!”
The package’s various posters and torch had some interesting branding – Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Is this the full title of the sequel? Only time will tell!
Oh yeah, I nearly forgot in all my excitement, what time is the Dying Light 2 gameplay reveal happening?
The Dying Light 2 gameplay reveal will take place tomorrow on Thursday, May 26th at 8pm UK time/12pm PT. You can watch the livestream on Techland’s official Twitch channel here.
