Activision’s Call of Duty franchise is no stranger to celebrity cameos, whether it be an appearance in the main game or a pre-launch trailer. The Modern Warfare 2 reboot is no exception.

Squad up in Modern Warfare 2!

The latest celebrity-filled cameo trailer is called “Squad Up” in which the famous faces are calling upon the Call of Duty community to summon their friends for some Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer action.

The celebrity trailer features the likes of Nicki Minaj, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, Pete Davidson, Kane Brown as well as Jalen Ramsey and more. Perhaps this trailer might get you extra hyped for Modern Warfare 2. However, for many of us, it might be the cringiest trailer that we’ll watch today.

When is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 being released?

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28th for PC, PlayStation as well as Xbox. However, if you pre-order the game digitally, you will get access to its single player campaign a week early. Happy days!

When will the new Warzone arrive?

The new incarnation of the free-to-play battle royale shooter dubbed “Warzone 2.0” will launch about two weeks after Modern Warfare 2 on November 16th.

Thankfully, as bad as this “Squad Up” trailer might be, at least we can enjoy the impressive Modern Warfare 2 launch trailer, which was like watching one for a movie.
