New Resident Evil Village Gameplay Revealed In PS5 Video

Thanks to a new video published by PlayStation we have been treated to new snippets of gameplay from Resident Evil Village.

The new video in question is a part of the “PS5 First Play” series, and in this particular video we hear from tennis player Naomi Osaka as she goes hands-on with the next-gen console (or should that be current-gen, just hours from launch?)

Osaka talks about how when she’s not competing in professional tournaments she likes to chill out with some PlayStation at home.

Osaka also talks of how she doesn’t tend to play horror games as she gets too scared, which explains why she keeps jumping every few seconds while playing Resident Evil Village.

If you’re concerned that spoilers will be revealed worry not, because while we do get new glimpses of the village that will feature in the latest Resident Evil instalment, much of what we see has already been showcased in trailers.

Resident Evil Village takes place several years after the events of Resident Evil 7 and will once again star Ethan Winters. However it seems that series favourite Chris Redfield may have gone bad (or has he?)

During the same gameplay video we also see Naomi Osaka getting to grips with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales which releases this week on November 12^th for PS4 and PS5.

Resident Evil Village will release for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2021. While you wait for its release you can read what we’d love to see in Resident Evil Village here.

The PlayStation 5 will release this week on November 12^th for North America, Australia and New Zealand, it will then release everywhere else across the world on November 19^th.
