Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is one of the most exciting PlayStation 5 exclusives we’ve had revealed (so far) and now we’ve gotten a glimpse of the game in 4K.

Developer Insomniac Games has unveiled a sneaky peek at just how jaw-dropping the upcoming Spider-Man game will look if you choose to run it in 4K.
As you can see in the tweet below, Miles is looking pretty spectacular – and it’s definitely got me excited for the release!
“#MilesMoralesPS5 is realized in 4K HDR on PS5,” said Insomniac. “See reflections with ray-tracing, and improved lighting, shadow, and character detail.”
Earlier this summer, it was revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be able to blow your socks off with an option to play in 4K at 60 FPS. The PlayStation 5 exclusive is set to be one heck of an experience if you’ve got the TV to pull it off, and web-slinging through New York city is going to be a redefined experience with these playability options.
The news came straight from the horse’s mouth, with Insomniac Games confirming the news across social media. The developer shared a GIF of Miles himself, writing: “Swing through the city like never before on PS5 with an optional 4K / 60fps Performance Mode. #MilesMoralesPS5 #SpiderManPS5“
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is set to be a pretty special experience, despite some controversy over the game’s length. When first revealed, it was expected the game would be a full sequel, though this was quickly corrected by Insomniac.

Miles Morales will actually be a standalone expansion, and has been compared “in scope” to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Though we don’t have any solid news on the length, it’s likely we’re looking at less than 10 hours.
For those who’ve not played The Lost Legacy, it’s a 7-10 hour game which explores a whole story arc, separate to that of the mainline UC adventures. It’s hovered in price since its launch in 2017, but can now usually be found for around the £10 GBP mark (with a little luck, that is).
It’s expected that Miles Morales will be a console launch title.
