New The Last of Us 2 Gameplay Was Shown at GameStop Event

It’s felt like an age since we last saw some new gameplay for Naughty Dogs, The Last of Us: Part II, let alone finally getting to know that illusive release date.  With Sony not being at this year’s E3, fans are eagerly awaiting any further news with hopes that we’ll learn more at the next PlayStation Experience event, whenever that may be.

However, new information on the highly anticipated sequel might be closer to being revealed then we think.  Thanks to a recent GameStop Managers Show, the lucky attendee’s were shown brand new gameplay footage for The Last of Us: Part II.

While none of the footage has been made public, an attendee took some snaps of the conference, which clearly show The Last of Us: Part II logo on a big screen, as well as some marketing posters.  The person that tweeted these images also stated that the “gameplay was about stealth and how you can use clickers to your advantage.”  And when asked whether the gameplay would be made public, he simply replied “Soon.

It may not be much to go on at the moment, as we’re all craving to see some new gameplay for The Last of Us: Part II, as well as knowing that all important release date.  Hopefully, this recent GameStop Managers Show might just mean that a brand new reveal is not too far away.
