Nolan North, the voice of Nathan Drake in the PlayStation series Uncharted, will reprise his role in the movie novelisation’s audiobook.
During an interview with Variety, Nolan North revealed that he will be voicing Nathan Drake in the upcoming audiobook of the Uncharted movie starring Tom Holland.
While Nolan North has voiced a lot of iconic characters as detailed in our “Best Nolan North Video Game Roles That Left Us Impressed”, he is perhaps best known as the charismatic, wise-cracking Nathan Drake.
However, Nolan North will not only be the voice of Drake but he’ll be performing some serious multi-taking. Furthermore, North will also voice Sully (played by Mark Wahlberg in the movie) as well as Moncada, who is played by Antonio Banderas. So at least it seems that Sony is getting its money’s worth when hiring Mr North for his talents.

“I got to do Antonio Banderas, a little bit of a Mark Wahlberg and put on my own Boston accent a little bit,” said North. “And then Nathan Drake. I didn’t do Tom Holland, though. I kind of just did me. I tried to young him up a little bit.”
The Uncharted movie is a prequel to the iconic video game series, which tells the tale of a younger Nathan Drake and his mentor Victor Sullivan. In our review of the Uncharted movie, we said its: “messy charted territory with a heart of gold.”

Uncharted is out now in UK cinemas and releases in the US on February 18th.
