GDC may have been dominated by the reveal of Google’s new foray into the gaming world, but Google wasn’t the only one bringing us all the hype.
Oddworld Inhabitants showed off a a sneak peek of the next game in the beloved franchise – Oddworld: Soulstorm – and it looks like the nostalgia-fuelled romp our inner children are all crying out for.

Oddworld: Soulstorm, which is a direct sequel to 2014’s New ‘n’ Tasty (which was a remake of the first game in the series), is looking like it’s going to have the best bits of what makes the series so great, wrapped up in 2019 textures and graphics.
Over on Twitter, the company confirmed that “it’s a brand new game, a reimagining” and will still include “familiar elements from Exoddus.”
