Heist multiplayer shooter Payday 2 has just received a huge content update to celebrate the game’s 200th game patch.

The details of the 200th update were posted on the Steam community page where the update dubbed “Crimson Shore” was officially revealed.
The post reads: “Hello Heisters! As the sun sets over Mexico, our heisters are preparing for grave business and a final showdown. But it’s not all serious stuff we have in store.
“To celebrate Update 200, we’re also expanding the Infamy System!”

The Crimson Shore update will bring four pieces of paid DLC to Payday 2, including “Vlad Wants to Settle a Score” which sees the Coyopa Cartel hunting down and storming the mansion of their leader, Buluc.
The other three pieces of DLC include “Dirty Work Needs Nice and Shiny Hardware” a weapon skin pack, “They Say Clothes Make the Heister” which features new outfits and “Put Some Shine on Your Gear” which features further weapon colour variants.
Each of the four pieces of DLC can be purchased individually or picked up at a discount in the Buluc’s Mansion Bundle for £7.23.

However that’s not all, because all players that download the Crimson Shore update will receive free bonus content.
The free bonus content includes two new camouflage weapon colours, as well as the Urban Abstract and Desert Pixel weapon colours for free.
The update will also raise the Infamy level which will unlock new rewards through progression.

In total included in “Infamy 3.0” there will be 40 new “infamous rewards” available to unlock today with a further 35 arriving in the near future.
The new update will also add a host of new features and improvements as well as a number of fixes to Payday 2. More information on the new update can be found here.
