PewDiePie Has Hit The Next YouTube Milestone

PewDiePie has had the most subscribed-to YouTube channel for years now, only losing his crown for a matter of seconds in the subs war with T-Series (and we won’t count that).

Although most PDP fans are pretty resigned to the fact that the subs war will soon end and T-Series will win, it’s not stopped the hope that Pewds will be the first to hit 100 million subscribers.

Aside from being an absolutely phenomenal achievement for the Swedish star, it’ll also be a groundbreaking moment for YouTube, and it’s a milestone lots of people want to see him hit.

It looks like the odds might just be in Felix’s favour for this one, as he’s getting incredibly close to the elusive goal.

The YouTuber has just hit 90 million subs, making the dream of 100 million more of a reality than ever.

Over on Twitter, Pewds shared the news with a grateful thanks to his followers, saying: “Thanks for 90 million subs, feels weird celebrating but just wanted to say thanks for all the support and love especially as of late.”

Felix’s “as of late” comment of course comes from the news that a mass shooter in New Zealand said “Subscribe to PewDiePie” before a killing spree which saw more than 40 people lose their lives.

PDP has seen an increase in trolls and hate over on social media for the attack, despite having nothing to do with it. He’s since unfollowed all accounts on Twitter – including his fiancée – amongst new accusations that some of his followers were Nazis.

The only account he now follows on Twitter is K-Pop band, BTS. Lol.
