YouTuber PewDiePie has had a rough couple of weeks and he’s still getting a lot of sh*t on social media.
Pewds’ name was mentioned by a shooter in the recent New Zealand attack causing a huge backlash for the star, despite the event having nothing to do with the YouTuber.
Since then, PewDiePie has been under relentless fire from his haters with yet another controversy hitting the star, as it’s claimed that people he followed on Twitter held racist beliefs.
A screenshot of PDP’s list of followed people shows some controversial figures, which has led to people once again bringing up that whole “Pewds is a racist” thing. Again.

PewDiePie fans (and people with common sense) are disputing the claim, citing everything from his past apology videos, to the money he’s raised for charity as evidence.
I cant wait until someone goes through the 2,390 people you follow and finds tonnes of people with very questionable politcal positions. Because just by law of averages they will be in there

In response to the furore, PewDiePie has unfollowed every account he was following – barring one. He’s still following K-Pop group, BTS. And no, he’s not even following his fiancée any longer. Lol.

Unfortunately, this is a debate that has now gone on for years, and it looks like it’s not stopping anytime soon, despite many attempts from PDP to try and quash the idea of him being a racist.
@tariqnasheed you absolute dumbass.
1: The symbol is not a white supremacist symbol. It’s a joke 4chan made, saying it was a WP sign as a JOKE after the hand symbol become popular as a JOKE from a TV show.

On top of that, I don’t think PewDiePie would raise charity for Indian kids if he is a white supremacist. He even cried when he recorded his reply to the media who called him a neonazi.

Ah yes, damn you PewDiePie how dare you donate $250k to an Indian charity. How dare you not release a video out of solidarity for the victims whose attacker used your name as a meme. It’s really racist to express condolences to victims’ friends and families. So supremacist smh

Let’s not forget the hundreds of thousands of dollars that PewDiePie and his followers raised for charities including CRY, which helps children in need in India.
Where’s Gloria Borga when you need her?
