A whole bunch of new stuff is getting positive buzz.

Players Are Loving The Los Santos Tuner Update For GTA Online

Rockstar is treating its GTA hot-rod fans to a new update this week in the form of the Los Santos Tuners update.

Releasing today on 20th July, the Los Santos Tuners update brings a whole host of new additions for those who like to drive fast. The biggest addition by far is the inclusion of the new LS Car Meet. It’s a social space where like minded players can meet up to show off their whips.

WHat’s new?

The social space is located in a warehouse in Cypress Flats – that’s the industrial estate in the south east corner of the map. Somehow, an entire test track has been squeezed into the warehouse building. There, you’ll be able to test out new cars and complete a series of challenges in return for RP.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a true racer fan update if it didn’t include new races and cars. There are three new classes of race included in the Tuners update, including the Street Race series, the Pursuit series, and the Sprint series. It’s all very reminiscent of Need for Speed.

A grand total of 17 new cars are expected to be added to GTA Online over the course of the event, however 10 of them are already in the game. Those include:

  • Karin Calico GTF
  • Karin Futo GTX
  • Annis Euros
  • Vapid Dominator GTT
  • Annis ZR350
  • Dinka RT3000
  • Vulcar Warrener HKR
  • Obey Tailgater S
  • Dinka Jester RR
  • Annis Remus

Some of those cars are actually based upon real world counterparts. Petrol heads will enjoy seeing unofficial renditions of the Toyota A90 Supra, the Mazda RX-7, and the Honda S2000 recreated in GTA Online.

In addition, there has also been some quality of life improvements made to the game. You can now fully customise your radio wheel so that it only includes the stations that you really want to listen to. No more accidentally switching to the Country station!

Players are loving the new additions

So far, the response to the update seems to be largely positive. Players are praising Rockstar for including the quality of life updates and appreciate that they now have a space where they can properly partake in the speed demon hobby. Some are even going as far as to call it the “best update ever”.
