A PlayStation animator has said he’s working on something “equally cool” as God of War Ragnarok – and it could possibly be the Last of Us remake!
Stop teasing us!
In a tweet posted on March 2nd, Morrison expressed the struggles of keeping a project secret that he’s been working on for 3 to 5 years. Then a tweet posted on April 13th, teased that the project will be revealed at some point this year.
However, it’s a tweet posted on March 19th that connects many of the suspecting dots. “Was a nice surprise to receive this rad gift today from PlayStation’s Creative Arts team. PlayStation has some bangers coming out this year,” tweeted the developer.
According to reports, PlayStation’s first-party studio Creative Arts is the team said to be working on The Last of Us remake.
Obviously, at this time, we must take all speculation and gossip with a pinch of salt. That being said, it seems that The Last of Us remake rumours are not going away, and as they say, “there’s no smoke without fire.”
Does The Last of Us need a remake?
When The Last of Us was released for the PS3 in 2013 and then a remastered version for PS4 a year later, it quickly became one of the best games of all time. However, many have asked the question of whether The Last of Us really needs a remake? After all, despite nearly 10 years passing, the game has aged rather well.
