PlayStation Is Hiring Senior Director For Expanded PC Strategy

A job listing has revealed PlayStation is looking to hire a Senior Director as it aims to expand its strategy into the PC market.

As reported by VGC, the job listing in question, which will be based in San Mateo, California, states that a Senior Director is to lead its PC “planning and strategy” expansion.

The potential candidate would be responsible for “the strategy and commercial activity within Global Channel sales and will deliver a single, optimised PC Sales growth and commercial plan.”

Furthermore, the candidate would also be required to “lead PC growth and commercial strategy” as well as “develop and implement global PC store strategy and process.

Last year, Sony acquired the development studio “Nixxes” to work on PlayStation ports on PC. Already, Sony has brought the likes of God of War (2018), Horizon Zero Dawn, and Days Gone to PC.
