PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra games announced for March 2023

The PlayStation Plus Essential and Extra games have been announced early for March 2023 during the State of Play event.

Yesterday, Sony hosted its first State of Play showcase of 2023. While it wasn’t a massive 30+ minutes for reveals, it certainly had some important announcements. One such announcement was the early reveal of the PlayStation Plus March 2023 offerings.

However, the PlayStation Plus Premium classic gamers were not revealed. So we guess that will be saved for a later date. What’s more, hopefully, we won’t be waiting long for that announcement. That being said, here are the PS Plus Essential and Extra games for March 2023:

When will the PS Plus titles be available?

The PS Plus Essential games will be available from Tuesday, 7th March. As for the PS Plus Extra as well as the Premium games, they usually become available around the middle of the month. We also assume that along with the classic games, a few more PS5 and PS4 titles will also be revealed.

Personally, I think it’s a decent month for PlayStation Plus subscribers, regardless of the tier. I believe that Battlefield 2042 is an interesting choice, especially as it’s a game that hasn’t had the best of times since its launch in November 2021.

However, with Battlefield 2042 being a cross-platform title for PC, PlayStation and Xbox, the PS Plus inclusion might give the overall concurrent player numbers a little boost.
