PS Now Adds Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War, And Nioh 2

PS Now adds Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War, Nioh 2, and more to its line-up this month. So, it begs the question, is now the time to sub to PS Now?

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service is one of the best-value products in gaming. For as little as £7.99/$9.99 a month you can get access to hundreds of great games. Many are first-party games, which now include Bethesda titles following Microsoft’s acquisition of ZeniMax Media.

PS Now on the other hand has struggled to compete with the value of Xbox Game Pass. However, while Sony’s service does not currently offer first-party titles at launch, it now looks like it’s starting to compete with Microsoft’s subscription service.

PS Now is offering great value

Since its inception, PS Now has reduced in price, now at a more reasonable £8.99/$9.99 a month. Unless you go all in, in which a yearly subscription costs £49.99/$59.99. Which is great value in my opinion.

However, the PS Now lineup for July 2021 is arguably one of its best yet. As of right now, you can play Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War (2018), Nioh 2, Moving Out, Judgment, Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, and Nascar Heat 5.

Though it is worth mentioning that unlike other games included in PS Now which allows you to stream and download games from the library, Red Dead Redemption 2 is download only. This is likely due to the size and technical demands of the game.
