This is a public service announcement; God of War Ragnarok spoilers are in the wild. So please be vigilant across social media.
God of War Ragnarok isn’t released for PS5 and PS4 until next month. However, various media outlets as well as content creators have access to early review codes.
In fact, various hands-on previews are now available from various sources.
No God of War Ragnarok spoilers here!
Those hands-on previews are officially permitted by Sony and Santa Monica Studio and only relate to the first few hours of the game.
However, as reported by VGC, an individual has been sharing screenshots, apparently with major spoilers online.
At this time, it’s unknown whether this individual has gained access to an early code officially or via other means.
It’s also not known if the spoilers have been intentional to ruin the experience for others. Moreover, it’s possible that the person hasn’t noticed the NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) rules. Either way, an embargo has been broken.
We won’t be posting any spoilers here, nor will we share a link to those spoilers.
The only source of information shared is from VGC, whose article is also spoiler-free. So, we won’t be ruining anything for you here.
Creative Director attempts to defuse leaks
Furthermore, Creative Director at Santa Monica Studio, Cory Balrog has announced in a tweet that the original source of the leaks has been removed. Unfortunately, that hasn’t stopped others from saving the leaked screenshots and continuing to share them across social media.
It’s even possible that some will not only post spoilers in God of War Ragnarok-related social media posts, but also in posts not related to the game.
So again, please be vigilant.
God of War Ragnarok will be released for PlayStation 5 as well as PlayStation 4 on November 9th.
