Take-Two has addressed frustrated Red Dead Online fans that feel left behind the likes of GTA Online.
It seems update after update, Red Dead Online fans have continually grown frustrated with the seemingly uninspired content for the western online shooter.
In comparison, Rockstar Games counterpart GTA Online has benefited from a plethora of meaty updates, including an expansion starring hip-hop legend, Dr Dre. To be fair, I absolutely understand why Red Dead Online fans feel left behind.
Fans have been heard
However, during a recent interview with IGN, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick addressed concerns of the Red Dead Online fanbase.
“Rockstar Games talks about the updates that are coming, and we’re working on an awful lot at Rockstar Games,” said Zelnick. “I’ve heard the frustration, it’s flattering that they want more content, and more will be said by Rockstar in due time.”
While the words of Zelnick may not offer much comfort at this time, I suppose at least Take-Two is aware of fans’ frustrations. Hopefully, Rockstar Games will provide meaningful and constant updates in future. However, as the old saying goes “actions speak louder than words.”
RDR2 content is not on the way
Furthermore, just in case you misread the words of Zelnick, the above comments were in reference to Red Dead Online only, and not Red Dead Redemption 2 DLC, sadly. Zelnick was “solely referring to online servers.”
