Xbox has revealed a full five minutes of gameplay of Redfall during tonight’s Xbox & Bethesda Showcase.
Developed by Arkane, the studio that developed Prey, Dishonored, and Deathloop, Redfall is a first-person shooter with both singleplayer and multiplayer elements.
Set in a world where legions of vampires have overtaken the titular town of Redfall, Massachusetts. Players choose one of four characters to slay their enemies inside the town.
Up until now, Bethesda and Arkane hadn’t shown off any gameplay of the upcoming shooter, but all that has changed with tonight’s Xbox and Bethesda Showcase where we’ve been treated to five whole minutes of gameplay. See for yourself above.
The gameplay features shooting, stealth and exploration. Whilst I was a little sceptical of the game at first without any gameplay to see, I’m now realising just how much of an Arkane title this looks like.
Redfall was recently delayed to 2023 along with Starfield. Originally slated for a 2022 release, the game will now ship sometime next year. This early gameplay first look is already showing good signs of its development process though.
