Capcom’s Resident Evil 3 Remake is nearly here and a slew of new leaks have gotten fans more excited than ever.
Ahead of the remake’s April release date, a pretty hefty leak of new screenshots made their way online via GamerGen. Sadly, the original images have now been removed (presumably due to action from Capcom). But this is 2020 and once you upload anything to the internet it’s there for life.

The full set of images have ended up onĀ ResetEra, or you can check them out on Imgur.
Here we can see a pretty vile-looking enemy that’s about to feel the wrath of Jill Valentine’s 9mm.

Just like in Resident Evil 2 Remake, the environments in RE3 are looking suitably spooky and detailed.

This enemy is definitely giving me World Serpent vibes.

Thanks to the success of 2019’s Resident Evil 2 Remake, fans are looking forward to what Capcom will bring to the 1999 classic.
The game’s official description reads as follows: “Jill Valentine is one of the last remaining people in Raccoon City to witness the atrocities Umbrella performed. To stop her, Umbrella unleashes their ultimate secret weaponļ¼ Nemesis!
“Also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe where four survivors face-off against a sinister Mastermind.”
We all know how great the last RE remake was, so safe to say there’s high hopes on the cards for this next release! As for where the series will go from there, RE4 is – of course – a fantastic game, but personally I don’t think it needs the same treatment as the 1990s originals. Maybe Code Veronica should be the next RE title to get a revamp.
