Say Arrr! To Upcoming Pirate Adventure, King Of Seas

Ahoy there matey! It’s nearly time to get your landlubbing soul geared up for a brand new adventure with the upcoming new sure-fire hit, King of Seas.

Coming to consoles and PC, King of Seas is one indie game you need to keep on your radar this year, as it’s set to impress when it unleashes its sails later this year.

From developer 3DClouds, King of Seas promises high-octane pirate action set in a procedurally generated world. You’ll have to conquer the battles of the high seas, seek out treasure and more in this action-oriented RPG.

The game’s official description explains: “King of Seas is an Action Role playing game set in a deadly procedurally generated pirate world. In a ferocious plot you will fight to regain what has been taken away and embark on an epic adventure in a fantastic world, filled with battles, lost islands and treasures. A universe full of amazing characters and breathtaking missions will keep you anchored as you strive to become the king of all pirates.”

With its beautiful graphics and endless replayability, King of Seas is sure to appeal to more than just your average pirate fanatic.

Over on the official PlayStation blog, Game Designer Luca Cafasso spoke a little about what we can expect to see from the game, and it’s definitely not going to leave you feeling seasick!

“Players can choose their own path, explore new islands, interact with intriguing characters and go head to head with other pirates in ferocious sea battles,” says Cafasso. “This swashbuckling excitement would all be weaved into a quest driven story of betrayal and revenge.”

Speaking more about the game’s mechanics, Cafasso says: “The dynamic world will also react to your every action, constantly adapting and throwing new challenges your way.

“Naval routes will change with each conquered settlement, the difficulty will adapt as you progress through your quests, and changes in weather will play a big part in your navigation and combat strategy.”
