2019 has seen some seriously impressive game releases, with March alone welcoming the epic Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and the engaging Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.
Both games have sold a serious amount of physical copies with both titles dominating in the UK sales charts, but it looks like their reign might be over.

The Division 2 initially held the #1 spot on the UK sales charts before giving the crown to Sekiro, but both have lost out this week – to none other than Nintendo’s Yoshi’s Crafted World.
Yoshi hasn’t just shocked a lot of people with its sales numbers, but it’s actually pushed Sekiro to the third-best selling game, with The Division 2 in second place.
Well done, Yoshi!

You can, of course, argue that Yoshi is a loveable character with games for all ages, whereas Sekiro and The Division 2 have much more niche audiences, but it’s still a hugely impressive feat for Nintendo. Don’t forget – Yoshi’s Crafted World is a Nintendo Switch exclusive after all…
Jesus, Yoshi’s Crafted World is number one in the UK charts. Wasn’t really expecting that: I thought Sekiro or The Division 2 would push it lower, especially being multi-format. Must have had some bloody good kids’ marketing. Happy with that
