A recent update for The Sims 4 brought with it a number of small changes, but players are terrified by the appearance of Ring Ring Girl on the main menu.
The Sims 4 has been plagued by Ring Ring Girl, the fan name for the Sim, since 2021, mostly because of her slightly overwhelming energy. And for a while, with the recent update that overhauled the main menu, she was pretty much unescapable. While the new look was designed to be easier for players to use, it certainly wasn’t so. As you can see in a tweet from the Twitter account Sims Community below, Ring Ring Girl was plastered absolutely everywhere on the main menu.

“Ring Ring,” reads one box. “No swiping left here :P,” reads another. “You didn’t call but I’m here,” once again. We absolutely didn’t call, and she absolutely is here. This is likely just some kind of bug though. As an update has been released that makes the menu a touch less Ring Ring Girl focused.
She definitely was meant to be featured in some capacity though. As the official The Sims Twitter account did let players know that Ring Ring Girl is available to download in the gallery. Not that anyone would want to because, you know. She’s scary.
Recently, in a strange bit of Sims news, copies of The Sims 3 were found amongst a collection of anti-Ukraine propaganda. What was meant to be a raid on a supposed Nazi assassin hideout was clearly just an attempt at spreading lies about Ukraine. Not your everyday story about The Sims.
The fighting in Ukraine is causing families to flee their homes. Please give now to save lives and protect people in need. Donate today!
