Skyrim is a pretty perfect game, but you know what makes it really special? The weird, wacky and wonderful mods created by those with a lot more talent than me. Over the years, Skyrim mods have introduced everything from Thomas the Tank Engine to NPCs who’d mysteriously lost their clothes, but now we might have the best mod of all time: one that adds a laugh track.

The Skyrim Laugh Track Mod has been artfully created by pro modder, qptain Nemo, and shared to NexusMods by KereeMelange. Dating back to 2011, this is a seriously classic mod, but for some reason we’ve only just discovered it. Still, I bet you’re glad we have!
Installing the mod will mean that you’ll be greeted with generic studio audience laughter every time you commit an oopsie, whether that’s when you die or even if you just eff up while picking a lock.

The mod’s official description reads as follows: “This mod adds laughing audience sounds every time you break a lockpick, fail to create a useful potion, try to shoot from an uncharged magical staff and fail at performing a shout. Update! Now it also adds laughter every time you die.”
If you want to enjoy this treat for yourself, you can download it right now from NexusMods, here.

If that doesn’t float your boat, how about a mod which will play through all of Skyrim for you?
One modder/Skyrim fan has created a mod that will play through the entirety of the Bethesda behemoth – without you needing to take part. Because why not?
Created by NexusMod‘s PhysicsFish, SkyTrek will give you a “hands-off experience” if you’re more of a laid-back gamer (or a non-gamer, I guess).

SkyTrek‘s description reads: “SkyTrek is a mod that allows you to have a more hands-off experience so that you can enjoy the aesthetic of your game, or immersively have your character behave in an organic way while you eat lunch.
“It is made primarily for roleplayers, screenarchers and anyone that records gameplay.
“SkyTrek allows the player character to travel on foot, horse or dragon to either a set or radiant destination of their choice…There is also an automated combat system for use while traveling with optional shouting and class system.”
