Sony has announced the scheduled PlayStation 5 games reveal has been cancelled following the Black Lives Matter protests taking place across the world.
The event, which was initially scheduled for Thursday June 4th, promised the fist big reveals for some of the PS5’s titles. A further look at the game’s controller, as well as possible console reveal, had also been teased.
In a statement across social media, PlayStation said the following: “We have decided to postpone the PlayStation 5 event scheduled for June 4.
“While we understand gamers worldwide are excited to see PS5 games, we do not feel that now is a time for celebration and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard.”
