Sony Leaks Release Windows For Multiple PS5 Games

Sony has “accidentally” revealed a number of release window dates for various PS5 games during a CES 2021 presentation video.

The video in question revealed a number of release windows in small print at the bottom of the screen, giving us a better idea of when we can expect some of the biggest games of 2021.

The games include the likes of Shinji Mikami’s GhostWire: Tokyo, as well as Capcom’s first new IP in years, sci-fi action-adventure Pragmata and more.

It’s worth keeping in mind that while this was a Sony presentation, some of the games are multi-format and are not exclusive to the PlayStation brand.

GhostWire: Tokyo is a supernatural adventure from Shinji Mikami’s studio Tango Gameworks, the team that brought us The Evil Within series.

In the CES 2021 video it revealed that GhostWire: Tokyo aims to release for PC and PS5 this coming October.

As it stands GhostWire: Tokyo is a PS5 console exclusive but many hope that it will come to Xbox following Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Studios.

Stray, from BlueTwelve and Annapurna Interactive, also aims to release during the same month as GhostWire: Tokyo.

New Capcom IP Pragmata which was set to release sometime in 2022 has now been pushed back to 2023. Pragmata is a title that’s coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
