Sony has confirmed that it’ll be revealing its game line-up for the upcoming PlayStation 5 “soon,” with industry insiders claiming we’ll be likely to see some reveals within the next two or three weeks.

In a recent Sony corporate strategy meeting, the company confirmed it will “introduce a compelling lineup of [PS5] titles soon.” It’s heavily speculated that a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn is mostly likely to be one of these titles (which aligns with recent rumours of the unannounced game).
Industry insider, Jason Schreier, recently told Press Start that early to mid June is looking likely for some more PS5 info, which presumably, could be the game reveals the company has promised to showcase.

“As far as I know, right now, Sony is still on track to do at least one thing by early June let’s say. Or by mid-June, let’s say,” Schreier told the publication.
We already know the PS5’s first confirmed title is Godfall, created by Gearbox. There’s also a number of games which will launch across current and next-gen platforms, like the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which will be launching in Holiday 2020.

Speaking to PlayStation Blog back in March, PlayStation Worldwide Studios boss Hermen Hulst, opened up about the company’s love for the strong single-player games it’s known for, and how this love will continue with the PS5.
“We’re very committed to dedicated hardware, as we were before,” he explained. “We’re gonna continue to do that. And we’re very committed to quality exclusives. And to strong narrative-driven, single-player games.”
With the likes of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, a sequel to 2018’s God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn 2 all eagerly anticipated by fans, the PS5’s potential line-up is already looking stellar! Let’s hope we get some official game announcements soon.
