Deepfakes are the viral trend which just won’t quit and they’re now a staple of online video game communities. The trend of swapping out the faces of characters we know and love for different characters we know and love is deeply unsettling for some, but a source of great appreciation for others.

YouTuber BabyZone has recently upped the deepfake stakes in a new video which replaces the heroes of Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4 with those of the Sam Raimi movies [via ComicBook].
Part of a series on BabyZone’s channel, the YouTuber has now created three different Spider-Man PS4 deepfake videos, replacing Spidey with the likes of Andrew Garfield, Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire. Though they’re definitely a little creepy in my eyes, you have to admit they look amazingly impressive!

BabyZone’s skills aren’t just limited to Spider-Man game though, as they’ve also tackled deepfakes for games including Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima. Check out all of BabyZone’s amazing work over on YouTube here, or watch the video below!
Speaking of deepfakes, earlier this year YouTuber Jarkan expertly placed actor Nathan Fillion into Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and the results were pretty spectacular.
For those who aren’t aware, Fillion starred in a 2018 Uncharted fan movie in which he played the hero of the series, Nathan Drake. Since then, fans have been crying out for Fillion to be cast in Sony’s official Uncharted movie (a role that’s since been given to Tom Holland).
In this massively popular Uncharted deepfake, Fillion from the fan movie replaces Drake in image only, still using the original lines from the games’ performance actor, Nolan North. The result is impressive (though again, a lil creepy), and it just goes to show what a fantastic Drake Fillion makes!
