Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order enjoyed quite a bit of the limelight during this year’s E3 conference last month, but – as always – the internet had a lot to say about the upcoming game.
Despite a lot of positive reactions, there was also some anger amongst potential players for a few reasons – one of which was the game’s lightsaber.

During the E3 gameplay reveals, lots of gamers and Star Wars fans were pretty upset to see some very dull-looking lightsabers that were a world away from the bright and shiny things wielded in the movies.
However, it looks like Respawn has taken the upset on board, as it’s been confirmed that the lightsabers have had a bit of a revamp as a result of the backlash.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order director Stig Asmussen recently appeared on The Game Informer Show [via ComicBook], where he was asked about the lightsabers dark look.
“We made a mistake on that one, and since then have fixed it,” Asmussen responded. “That was very fair feedback and fair criticism. We’ve tweaked [the light], and also tweaked the shape of the lightsaber blade a little. You can see the difference right away.”
Thanks, Respawn!

“The Empire won’t stop until every Jedi is purged from the galaxy. As a young Padawan on the run, the odds are against you—but the Force is with you. Discover the Jedi abilities you must master to survive,” says EA’s official description of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Jedi Fallen Order follows a young Padawan in the Dark Times, the period that follows Order 66 (otherwise known as Clone Protocol 66).

If you haven’t brushed up on your Star Wars knowledge recently, Order 66 is a secret group created to outlaw Jedis as traitors to the Galactic Republic. Sounds interesting!
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will release November 11, 2019.
