The Creator Of John Wick Will Write Just Cause Movie

Another day, another video game movie adaptation, except that a Just Cause movie might actually have a shot at being good thanks to those working on it.

It’s been announced that a Just Cause movie is on the cards, and it’ll be written by none other than Mr. Derek Kolstad.

If the name doesn’t sound familiar to you then his work definitely will ring a bell, as he’s the creator of the insanely cool and ever-popular John Wick franchise.

Kolstad will be writing Just Cause, with Contantin Films’ Robert Kulzer and Prime Universe Films’ Adrian Askarieh serving as the film’s producers.

It won’t be the first video game adaptation for Askarieh, who worked as a producer on the not-so-successful Hitman movies.

Kulzer has also had a history with video game movies, and worked as one of the producers of the Resident Evil franchise.

Not too many other details are known about the proposed movie as of yet, but hopefully it’ll be less like Hitman and more like John Wick, which oozes style, humour and puppies.

The third instalment of the John Wick series has just hit cinemas, and if you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it (especially if you’re still out for dog-related vengeance, because the doggos really kick some *ss this time around).

There’s about to be a huge influx of video game television shows and movies, and hopefully the curse of bad adaptations will end.

PlayStation Productions, Sony’s own dedicated place to release TV series and movies based on its ultra-successful IPs was just announced last year, and with the likes of mega-hit series, Netflix’s The Witcher, it’s a good time to be a gamer.

Let’s hope they don’t all suck!
