The incredible Deathloop is already on sale for $40. Unfortunately, the offer is only available in the US and not elsewhere.
Deathloop, which is currently a PC and PlayStation 5 exclusive, has been met with high critical acclaim. Despite many getting tired of Bethesda’s heavy marketing push, I don’t think many quite expected for it to gain such high success.
Where can I buy Deathloop for $40?
At the time of writing, you can pick up Deathloop for $40 from Amazon in the US. Sadly, Deathloop is £40 on Amazon UK. To compare currencies, $40 is about £30 in the UK, so it’s quite the price difference.
While the critics have been raving about Deathloop, not everyone shares the same sentiment. For example, on Metacritic, Deathloop on PS5 has a critic score of 88. Whereas, it has a very average user score of 6.4.
Opinions are divided
“Graphics are okay, music is okay, ai is terrible. The game seems like it has an interesting concept, but at the end of the day what you do is to play 4 different maps only and kill everyone in it,” said user Sugo on Metacritic.
Although, user ett526 had a very different opinion: “Awesome game! Very unique if you like the Hitman/Dishonored games and detective stories with sci-fi elements you will love this game.”
Here at GameByte, we gave the game out very first perfect 10 score. In our review of Deathloop, we said: “Arkane once again goes all-in with the dedication to its premise, building an entire zoo of possibilities for creative murder expression and sneaky sandbox antics. I haven’t seen anything quite like it in a long time.”
