The Pokemon Company has recreated Red’s bicycle from the original Game Boy games, according to a recent Twitter announcement.
Revealed via the official Japanese Pokemon Twitter account, the bike is set to be part of a competition [translated via Twitter]:

Now, I know what you’re thinking; what exactly makes this bike so special? Well, it’s actually a fully functional, life-size replica of the game’s iconic bicycle. The tweet also claims that the vehicle is actually worth a whopping one million yen (or around nine thousand dollars).
Of course, if you’re a Pokemon fan, the last thing you’ll want to do is sell this unique collector’s piece. Not only is the bike gorgeous from afar, but it also features various intricate details such as Pokeball tire treads, etched Pikachu and Snorlax emblems on the under spokes and Pokeballs on the handles. I mean, who wouldn’t want this bike?!
Sadly, while anyone can enter this unique competition, the bike will only be shipped to addresses in Japan. Therefore, you’ll either need to ask someone nicely to accept the delivery for you, or travel over there and get it yourself. Although, you might need to use Surf to actually get there. Or a plane. I mean, you do you!
