The Witcher 3 is coming to next gen consoles

Some welcome news, as it’s been confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will definitely be coming to next gen consoles.

Featuring a range of visual and technical improvements, including ray tracing and faster loading times, the game will be tweaked to get the most out of the new systems.

The next generation edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available as a standalone purchase on PC, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, and as a free update for current owners of the game on PC, Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

In other Witcher news, Netflix recent released a behind-the-scenes documentary on the series.

The 33 minute film takes a deep look at the creation and filming of the first season, including never-before-seen footage and interviews with the cast and crew.

Though it’s not exactly a long documentary. it definitely packs a punch, covering everything from Henry Cavill’s physical training for the role of Geralt, to how the visual effects were achieved.

The official description teases of “the monsters, the ballads, and every bit of magic that went into bringing The Witcher’s continent to life.”

In short, if you’re a fan of Netflix’s The Witcher, you probably need to get the popcorn out for this one!
