Did you spot her?
The Avengers is one of those movies that fans know like the back of their hands, but unless you’re a really hardcore fan, it’s unlikely you spotted a cameo from one of the voice actors from PlayStation exclusive and Naughty Dog classic, The Last of Us.
In a deleted scene (and also for a few frames that made it to the final cut of the movie), Ashley Johnson can be spotted. She plays a waitress in The Avengers, but unfortunately had most of her scenes cut from the final piece.
If you don’t recognise Ashley Johnson’s name you should definitely recognise her voice, as she plays the iconic Ellie in both The Last of Us and its upcoming sequel, The Last of Us Part Two.
Check her out at around the 1:00 minute mark in the deleted scene from The Avengers below.
Did you spot her the first time you watched The Avengers?
Speaking of The Last of Us Part Two, we’re still waiting for solid confirmation on the game’s release date. With the next-generation of consoles on the horizon, we’re hoping we’re going to be getting the game for the PlayStation 4 – and hopefully for its successor in the form of an amped-up version, as we got with The Last of Us.
The title has been teased by Naughty Dog for the last couple of years, and in the past week it’s shown up in the ‘Coming Soon’ section for some PlayStation Store users across Europe.
Although fans were hoping for a release date reveal from E3 2019, Sony has confirmed it won’t be holding its usual conference at the event. Being absent from E3’s conference means it’s highly unlikely we’ll be getting a release date then.
Now’s the best time for you to complete your Grounded run of the first game before the sequel comes out. We might have a bit of a wait on our hands…
