One of the strangest phenomenons of the 21st century surrounds the strange success of Tommy Wiseau’s 2003 movie, The Room, which grew to fame in meme-form last year.
The Room was catapulted back into our attention thanks to the popular movie, The Disaster Artist, which released back in 2017.
The Room is widely considered ‘the worst film ever made’ but, of course, this is 2019, and everyone loves to love a meme. Despite the movie’s achieved cult status, it ended up getting insanely popular.
Riffing on the success, the main main himself has decided to make things a little more modern – by mixing in one of the biggest movie series of the last…well, of all time.
Yes, Wiseau has taken some of the film’s highlights and mashed them up with Marvel’s Avengers….Because why not?
The result is something that is more bizarre than you could have ever imagined. It basically just takes all of the well-known memes from the 2003 movie and puts an Avengers-style spin on it, so even if you haven’t seen it, you can probably get by.

Interestingly, “Marvel Studios The Room” as it’s been called, is actually performing better than The Room ever did.
At the time of writing, the mash-up video is currently sitting at 6.5k likes to 104 dislikes.
One of the YouTube comments summed it up better than I ever could, writing: “Tommy Wiseau keeps on posting videos I didn’t think I needed.”
Another wistful person laid out some wishful thinking: “Give me movie about Tommy Wiseau as an Avenger, and I’ll be complete.”
Can someone get Marvel Studios on the line? Or maybe we’re more in need of a change.org petition to make this happen.
Maybe it wouldn’t be the worst idea..? Well, it couldn’t be any worse than The Room. Probably.
