The upcoming new season of Rick and Morty has pulled out all the stops when it comes to celebrity talent.
Following in the footsteps of famous guest stars like Jemaine Clement, Christina Hendricks, and John Oliver, Season 4 is really upping its starpower and will even include a Marvel Cinematic Universe favourite.

It’s been an eternity since we last blasted off with the madcap scientist and his stuttering grandson, but we’re one step closer to Rick and Morty‘s triumphant return. Considering there have only been 31 episodes of the cartoon caper (so far), it’s amazing to think Rick and Mortyis one of the most popular shows around.
Prepare to get schwifty as 10 new episodes are coming this November. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Roiland and Harmon confirmed Paul Giamatti, Kathleen Turner, Sam Neill, and Taika Waititi will all lend their voices to Season 4.

For anyone who needs a little background, Giamatti has starred in the likes of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, 12 Years a Slave, and Showtime’s Billions. Turner played Chandler’s transsexual dad in Friends and famously voiced Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
As for Neill, he played the legendary Dr. Alan Grant in the Jurassic Park movies and we’re hoping he’ll be part of the upcoming Jurassic World 3. Finally, Waititi was the director of Thor: Ragnarok and appeared as the fan-favourite Korg.

Ironically, Neill had a brief cameo in Ragnarok (playing Odin in Loki’s play), meaning Rick and Morty Season 4 has snared two Marvel Cinematic Universe stars. There aren’t many details on who they’ll play, but the showrunners promise Neill and Waititi will have a “kiwi flavour” as a nod to their New Zealand heritage.
Unfortunately, Neill won’t be homaging any of his famous movie roles, meaning Season 4 won’t have a sequel to Season 1’s “Anatomy Park”.
Rick and Morty season four airs this November on Adult Swim.
