Upcoming Harvest Moon Remakes Will Be Releasing In The West

It’s been a pretty exciting couple of weeks for fans of the classic farming franchise, Harvest Moon.

Marvelous Inc. recently announced that the Nintendo Switch remake of the classic Gameboy Advance titles, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town and Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town will be coming to North America and Europe.

It’s also been confirmed by Xseed Games, who publishes the Harvest Moon games in North America, that the remake will be getting a new title: Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

It gets even better, as Marvelous Inc. has now officially released a trailer for the game [via Gematsu].

The Japanese release date for Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town will be October 17 2019.

It’s not yet been confirmed when the EU and US will be getting their versions of the game, but it’s looking likely to be sometime in 2020.

OG fans of the Harvest Moon games can’t wait to revisit their cows, sheep and townsfolk when the remake finally releases.

From the trailer, it looks like there’s been some serious hard work and effort put in to bringing these games back to life, and they look exactly like how I thought they did when I was a kid and playing on my Game Boy Advance.
