Disney Plus series WandaVision is apparently the most popular TV show on the planet right now, according to Parrot Analytics.
The current global pandemic is still causing mayhem, and it’s resulted in many social activities being cut short. So many of us have been catching up, re-watching or are being introduced to TV shows.
Pretty much everyone with a Disney Plus subscription is now watching WandaVision. To be fair, with or without the global pandemic, my family and I would still be immersed into the lives of the Scarlet Witch and Vision. We’re not the only ones, with Parrot Analytics noting the following [via JOE]:
“Parrot Analytics has found that the audience demand for Wandavision is 49.8 times the demand of the average TV series in the United States in the last 30 days. 0.2% of all shows in this market have this level of demand.”
WandaVision airs in the UK every Friday and the first season is nearing its conclusion. It’s certainly a slow-burn series which leaves you wanting more each time an episode finishes. We’re usually left hanging for a further week until the next one arrives.
WandaVision is a prime example of how a slow-burn TV series is done right, and it’s the perfect bridge from post-Avengers: Endgame to phase four of the MCU.
It’s of pretty much no surprise to those that watch the show that, according to Parrot Analytics, WandaVision is currently the most popular TV show on the planet.
As most streaming platforms don’t like to share official viewership data, the information gathered by Parrot Analytics is taken from social media interactions, fan ratings as well as piracy data. While it’s not confirmed by Disney, the stats speak for themselves!
