Warner Bros. has debunked recent rumours that they plan to sell two of its leading video game studios, NetherRealm Studios and TT Games.

Recent rumours have speculated that Warner Bros is looking to sell NetherRealm Studios and TT Games. If the rumours were to be true then it could have a huge impact on the industry.
TT Games are currently working on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga which features every mainline Star Wars movie, and is said to feature over 300 playable minifigures. However, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been hit by a number of delays and looks to release in 2022.
NetherRealm Studios, on the other hand, are known for the iconic fighting series Mortal Kombat, as well as Injustice which is based on the characters of the DC Comics universe.
However, a spokesperson has issued a statement to TheGamer debunking the rumours that Warner Bros are selling TT Games and NetherRealm Studios.
Warner Bros deny rumours
“I can confirm NetherRealm Studios and TT Games will continue to remain a part of Warner Bros. Games, and all are included in the Warner Media Discovery merger”, explained WB. The statement was very to the point and there was nothing further to add, at least currently.
Does this mean that Warner Bros will never sell NetherRealm or TT Games? No, but both studios are very lucrative for WB, and it would make sense for the company to keep hold of them, at least for now.
