Xbox and PC Game Pass games available for May

Microsoft has announced the next bunch of games heading to the Xbox Game Pass for the first half of May. Here’s what you can expect.

Upcoming Xbox Game Pass Games

Today (May 2) sees the release of Redfall, the vampire-slasher game from Arkane Studios. The title is out on Game Pass for Xbox Series X/S as well as PC and Cloud.

This may be the perfect time to grab it on Game Pass considering it has received less than positive reviews due to its bad performance and lackluster gameplay.

Also out today for Game Pass is the strategy sandbox game, Besiege. Using physics, construct medieval siege engines and battle across a single player campaign consisting of 54 levels. With an additional multiplayer mode, you can even design your own levels and customise to your heart’s content.

May 4 will see Ravenlok heading to the Pass for its release day. From the creators of Echo Generation, this fairytale reimagining tells the story of a kingdom ruled by a corrupted queen. Play as a young heroine destined to fulfill a dangerous prophecy of saving the world. It will be available for console, PC and Cloud.

Weird West: Definitive Edition will be available from May 8 for Xbox Series X/S. This action RPG takes place, as you guessed it, in the Wild West and comes from the co-creators of Dishonored and Prey. Join a world where your average gunslinger goes against fantastical creatures.

The Shadowrun Trilogy releases on May 9 (for PC) which comprises 3 tactical RPG games which take place in a dystopian future. Inspired by the cyberpunk genre, Shadowrun puts the player in a world re-awakened by magic and facing the fantastical creatures that have awoken too.

This is already available on Game Pass for console and Cloud.

Last but not least, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 launches on day one for console, PC and Cloud. The turn-based RPG sequel has ramped up its battle system, incorporating more strategy and choices that will affect how your game plays out.

The arrival of these titles will see five games being removed from the Xbox Game Pass. They are –

  • Before We Leave
  • Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition
