Microsoft is set to host its annual Xbox Games Showcase this summer. The event will feature “new surprises and first-looks”. It will be followed by a Starfield Direct livestream.
Sunday June 11 will see the Xbox Games Showcase event featuring what we can expect from Xbox Game Studios as well as internal studios. Although the company did not mention what games we can expect to see, it will include games for Xbox, PC and Game Pass.
Xbox Games Showcase
As mentioned, the event will go live on June 11 at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST. It will be available to watch on Xbox’s Facebook, Youtube and Twitch channels.
After the showcase, there will be an extended version that will go live on June 13 at 10am PT. This will feature in-depth interviews centered around the information shown at the main event. It will also see further updates from Xbox partners.
Starfield Direct
Bethesda’s Starfield Direct will follow on after the Xbox Games Showcase and will feature “tons of new gameplay, developer interviews, and behind-the-scenes insider information” according to a blog post by Xbox Wire
With Starfield set to launch this September, there is still a lot we don’t know about the action RPG by the makers of Skyrim and Fallout. With the release date being announced back in March, we haven’t received any news since so fans are eager to see what else they can expect from the sci-fi adventure.

What can we expect from the Showcase?
As for Xbox, they have a bunch of upcoming games that have been announced. This includes the new Forza Motorsport by Turn 10 Studios, the action-adventure game Everwild by Rare and Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 to name a few.
We could also hear more from Playground Games about the upcoming Fable as well as Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds 2 and Avowed.
