Xbox has revealed the first batch of games coming to Game Pass in May, featuring NHL 22, Danganronpa 2, and a few indies.

Another month, another load of games on the surprisingly good deal that is Game Pass. May 5 says the addition of two more indie games. One is Citizen Sleeper, a game where you “live the life of an escaped worker, washed-up on a lawless station at the edge of an interstellar society.” It’s inspired by tabletop RPGs, so if that’s your vibe it’s a great one to try out. And on the same day, Trek To Yomi, the Akira Kurosawa-inspired action game, will also be available. Both of which will be available on cloud, console, and PC.

what else is coming?

If solving a mystery is more your kind of thing, then on May 10 the addition of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition might please you. “On Jabberwock Island, you and your classmates were ready for fun in the sun until Monokuma returned! Trapped in a dangerous situation, you must survive through the class trials.”

Or if you like something with a touch of JRPG flavour, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is arriving the same day. This one is a side scrolling prequel to an upcoming full-on JRPG, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, from the creators of Suikoden. And also coming May 10 is This War of Mine: Final Cut, a game where you “play a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city.” Once again, all will be available on cloud, console, and PC.

And lastly, NHL 22 is coming via EA Play on May 12. Take to the ice and be the best hockey player you can be. NHL 22 will only be available on console.
