June is coming to its end for another year, and with it comes the announcement of Xbox Games with Gold for July 2022.
Another month, another round of Xbox Games with Gold, this time for the month of July. As always, next month’s batch of games were confirmed over on the Xbox Wire blog. And this time there’ll be a little something for everyone, with action, puzzles, and simulation to be found.
First off, Pokémon Snap fans should pay attention to this one, as Beasts of Maravilla Island will be available from July 1 to 31. “Unlock the wonder by taking pictures of the elusive and beautiful creatures on a mysterious, dreamlike island,” reads a description of the game. Rather than being on rails, you get to explore the 3D jungle filled with all sorts of critters and creatures.
Also available from July 1, but only until July 15, is Thrillville: Off the Rails, an Xbox 360, backwards compatible simulation game. “Design and run your own theme park! With five new parks and 100 new missions, you’ll need an all-day pass to enjoy this much fun.”

Then, from the middle of the month starting July 16 until August 15, puzzle fans will be treated to Relicta. “Play as a physicist stranded on an eerie derelict moon base. Find your way by bending gravity and magnetism to your will.” You’ll also have to uncover the secrets of the lunar craters that can either “claim your daughter’s life or change the fate of humanity forever.”
And lastly, also available from July 16, but only until July 31, is the action game Torchlight. In Torchlight, you’ll be able to “hack and slash your way through dungeons galore.” There are three character classes to choose from, with randomly generated dungeons that contain “hordes of monsters” and “lots of loot.”
Some smaller names in the Xbox Games with Gold July 2022 bundle, but definitely something that should appeal to everyone. Just make sure you claim the remaining titles from Games with Gold for June.
