The lineup of games we can expect with Xbox Gold for May has been announced. Let’s take a look at what games you can grab next month.
With Microsoft no longer including Xbox 360 games in their Xbox Gold package, the amount of games available each month has significantly dropped. However, May is still offering two unique games that will be worthwhile to your game library.
Xbox Gold Games Available This May
Those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold will be able to get their hands on the following games next month.
Star Wars Episode I Racer is the first game available which is perhaps unsurprising with the upcoming release of Star Wars Jedi Survivor. With the recent news that the PC port for Jedi Survivor is dealing with performance issues, perhaps Star Wars Episode I Racer will fill in that gap until it’s fixed.
This racing game originally released in 1999 is based on the podracing sequence in Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace. With access to all the racers and race courses from the movie, it also features additional courses across Tatooine and other planets.
Star Wars Episode I Racer will be available from May 1 to May 31.
The second game available will be Hoa, a puzzle-platforming game drawn exclusively by hand. First released in 2021, this atmospheric platformer features beautiful art, a spellbinding accompanying soundtrack and breathtaking environments.
Play as Hoa on her journey back to where it all began and keep out for magical creatures along the way. With plenty of exploration-based puzzles to keep you and your brain busy, Hoa’s subtle storytelling and handcrafted sceneries will be the perfect escape.
Hoa will be available from May 16 to June 15.
