The modding community is one of the most creative in the world, and when it comes to adding your favourite memes into your favourite games, modders have got you covered.
Joining the likes of nude Claire Redfield in the Resident Evil 2 remake, Thomas the Tank Engine in Skyrim and Scooby Doo’s Shaggy in Jump Force, we now have Shrek in Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
YouTuber BeardBear shared a video of the mod in action, which you can check out below [via DualShockers].
Shrek’s character model takes the place of The Legend of Zelda’s Ganondorf, sporting full animations but – sadly – the same set of moves as the LoZ baddie.

In the video’s description, BeardBear writes: “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Playable Shrek. This video shows you the Shrek mod made by Hefty (https://goo.gl/amaVw9) that is based on the Smash 4 mod made by Tr1pleDee. Hefty got help from SushiiZ and Julio.”
I read it as “God makes Shrek playable in Smash Bros.” But it’s not wrong

Speaking of mods, it’s time you took a look at Thomas the Tank Engine in the Resident Evil 2 remake because it’s utterly, utterly terrifying. Someone’s created a mod which replaces RE2 remake’s terrifying Mr. X with the children’s TV character/much-loved-meme. The result is…well. Check it out for yourself below.
The Thomas mod comes courtesy of expert modder, @xZombieAlix, who you can check out on Twitter right here. Other works from the pro include the Chris Redfield mod, which you can watch for yourself below.
As for the download, it’s available over at NexusMods. Have you tried evading Thomas yet?
What characters would you like to see added into the likes of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?
